Who we are

Apartment Express is an apartment search service based in Berlin, Germany. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and German data protection law (BDSG).

What we collect

To search for and apply to apartments on your behalf, we collect: name, contact details, passport, income proof, SCHUFA or credit reference, employment information, and any documents you upload to support your application portfolio.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to build your Bewerbungsmappe and submit applications to landlords on your behalf, and to communicate with you about your search. We never sell your data.

Who we share it with

Landlords and property managers you apply to, our escrow provider Mangopay (only payment-related data), and essential infrastructure providers (email, cloud hosting) bound by GDPR data-processing agreements.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data at any time by emailing privacy@apartmentexpress.berlin. You may also lodge a complaint with the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz.
